ABOUT ÁNGEL RAMóN SANTOS BERRIOS
Former major league second baseman that played two years in the majors. He signed his first MLB contract with the Boston Red Sox in 2001. A few years later, he played with the Cleveland Guardians .
He initially began his professional career playing in the Red Sox minor league system.
He made his official MLB debut playing against the New York Yankees on September 8, 2001. He and the Red Sox lost the game 7-2. He was arrested in 2012 on drug trafficking charges.
He now lives with his family in Coral Springs, Florida.
He played alongside Trot Nixon and Manny Ramírez as a member of the Red Sox during his MLB debut.
