ABOUT AARON BROWN
American journalist who hosted World News Now on ABC and NewsNight with Aaron Brown on CNN. He was also a professor at multiple universities including the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
He attended the University of Minnesota but dropped out to serve in the United States Coast Guard.
He covered the September 11th terrorist attacks on his first day on the air at CNN. While at Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, he taught a class called Turning Points in Television News History.
He married Charlotte Raynor in 1982 and they had one daughter.
He also presented on World News Tonight with Peter Jennings .
