ABOUT AARON DOWNEY

Former NHL journeyman and enforcer who played for seven teams during his 13-year career.

He competed for a Canadian wrestling championship while in high school.

He was a member of the 2008 Detroit Red Wings team that won the Stanley Cup.

He grew up with two brothers, one of whom also became a hockey player.

He won a Stanley Cup in Detroit behind the leadership of Henrik Zetterberg .
