ABOUT ABDUL JERRI
Iraqi physicist and mathematician who has contributed to the information theory and the understanding of the Gibbs phenomenon.
He graduated with a B.Sc. in physics at the University of Baghdad in 1955 and a M.S. in physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1960.
He became part of the faculty at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York in 1967.
He comes from an Iraqi family.
Like him, architect Hisham Ashkouri went to the University of Baghdad.
