ABOUT ADAM HART DAVIS

Scientist, author, historian and broadcaster who is best known for hosting the educational BBC television series Local Heroes and What the Romans Did for Us.

He attended both Eton and Merton College.

Between 2001 and 2002 he hosted the BBC series Science Shack, in which he and his colleagues tested science questions by performing experiments.

He had two sons with his wife Adrienne, who he married in 1965.

He is the second cousin once removed of the British Prime Minister David Cameron .
