ABOUT ADAM PELECH

Professional defenseman that was drafted by the New York Islanders during the third round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. In August 2021, he signed an eight-year, $46 million contract extension with the Islanders.

He began his professional hockey career in 2014.

He made his NHL debut playing against the Anaheim Ducks on November 13, 2015.

He grew up living with his parents and his siblings in Toronto, Ontario. His uncle Mike played professional hockey for six years, and his brother Matt was drafted by the Calgary Flames in 2005.

He played alongside Josh Bailey as a member of the Islanders during the 2021 NHL season.
