ABOUT ADRIáN MISAEL MARTíNEZ

Professional pitcher that was first signed with the San Diego Padres as an international free agent in 2015. He was later acquired by the Oakland Athletics via trade in April 2022. He opened with the Las Vegas Aviators in the 2022 season.

He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Padres rookie affiliate team. After undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2016, he started the 2017 season with the AZL Padres.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Detroit Tigers on May 10, 2022, as a member of the Athletics. He pitched five innings and recorded three strikeouts.

He is a native of the Baja California, Mexico area.

He was once packaged in a trade that included Sean Manaea .
