ABOUT ADRIAN CRISTEA

Professional winger that was first signed by the Politehnica Iași Football Club in 2000 as a teenage phenom. During his 17-year club career, he played in countries such as Romania and Belgium. He also played for the Romanian men's national team during his professional career.

He first began playing soccer as a young child growing up. He later joined the Politehnica Iași youth club.

He made his international soccer debut with Romania on February 7, 2007. He and his team defeated the Moldova national team 2-0.

He was born and raised in the Iași, Romania area.

He was once given an award from Romanian politician Traian Basescu .
