ABOUT ADRIANNE LOBEL
Acclaimed Broadway designer who was known for her bold design choices.
She attended the Yale Drama School. Her first producing gig was A Year with Frog and Toad, which was based on her father's children's books.
She designed sets for The Hard Nut on PBS' Great Performances: Dance in America in 1991 and An American Tragedy in 2005 for the Metropolitan Opera.
She was married to Mark Linn-Baker from 1995 to 2009. Her father was author Arnold Lobel .
She designed the set for the Houston Grand Opera's performance of Nixon in China, which was based on President Richard Nixon 's 1972 visit to China.
