ABOUT ADRIJA ROY
Indian television and film actress who rose to fame portraying starring roles on screen, including Bimbo in the televised drama series Sanyashi Raja. She also played lead characters in television shows like Mongolchandi, Durga Durgeshwari, and Mou Er Bari, as well as feature films including Parineeta and Golper Mayajaal.
She made her on-screen debut in the year 2016, playing the role of Urmimala on the Bengali television series Bedini Moluar Kotha. She went on to relocate from her hometown of Kolkata to Mumbai in order to pursue a wider range of employment opportunities.
In December of 2023, she joined her co-star Sai Ketan Rao on the stage at the 23rd annual Indian Television Academy Awards to perform a dance to the song "Tum Kya Mile" from their romantic comedy film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani.
She is the daughter of Ananda and Gita Roy. She shared a picture alongside her parents in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on her adrija_roy_official Instagram account in May 2024.
She made her Hindi-language debut starring in the 2023 TV series Durga Aur Charu, which also starred Kunal Jaisingh . She appeared opposite Sana Sayyad , Paras Kalnawat , and Dheeraj Dhoopar in the drama series Kundali Bhagya.
