ABOUT AIDAN MURPHY

Midfielder who gained fame for his seven years playing in the English Football League (EFL). He represented Manchester United at the 1986 FA Youth Cup Final, where he scored a goal during the first leg.

He signed a pro contract with Manchester United on his 17th birthday in 1984.

He earned more than 100 caps with Crewe Alexandra between 1987-1992. He later became a youth soccer coach with Greensboro Youth Soccer in Greensboro, North Carolina.

His dad's name was Ollie.

He played for renowned coach Dario Gradi as a member of Crewe Alexandra.
