ABOUT AKANE TAKADA
Japanese ballerina who rose to fame as a soloist for the Royal Ballet. She was promoted to principal dancer for the Royal Ballet in 2016. She has been praised in The Telegraph, The Independent, the Financial Times, and Vogue Japan.
At the age of three, she began learning ballet at the Hiromi Takahashi Ballet Studio.
She was one of Vogue Japan's 2016 Women of the Year. She taught a ballet masterclass with Erico Montes in 2020.
