ABOUT ALAN GOW

Forward and midfielder who made his senior career debut in 2000 for Clydebank; moved from team to team frequently throughout the next decade of his career and joined Exeter City in 2012.

He began playing soccer at Yoker boys club, and played his youth soccer at Clydebank, before joining the senior squad.

He joined Plymouth Argyle in 2009, and scored goals in each of his first two matches with the team.

He was born and raised in Clydebank, Scotland, where his career began.

Originally a midfielder, he started to play forward while at Blackpool, because of an injury to Daniel Nardiello .
