ABOUT ALAN MATTURRO

Uruguayan centre-back who joined Italian Serie A club Genoa in 2023. At the international level, he represented Uruguay in the 2019 South American U-15 Championship. He was victorious with Uruguay at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

He trained in Defensor Sporting's youth academy.

He was born to a family of Italian descent. He featured his mother, Silvana, in a series of photos posted to his Instagram account on June 16, 2021.

He and Aarón Martín Caricol became teammates in 2023.
