Exceptional batsman who played from 1946-1957 for Derbyshire, and from 1958-1960 for Leicestershire.
He played for Derbyshire's non-first class team before making his first class debut with the club.
He netted more than 15,000 runs in his career.
His father, Thomas Revill, was also a successful cricketer.
