ABOUT ALEJANDRO ÁVILA
Known for his roles in such Spanish-language soap operas as Lo Que La Vida Me Robo (as Victor Hernandez) and Porque el Amor Manda (as Fernando Rivadeneira), he became particularly famous among teenage audiences.
Born Alejandro Aranda, he grew up in the city of Salamanca in Mexico's Guanajuato state.
He was nominated for a 2009 TVyNovelas Award for his role in the telenovela Juro Que Te Amo.
He had a daughter with his Cuban-born wife and also helped raise his wife's son from a previous marriage.
He and Daniela Castro were both in the cast of the soap opera Lo Que La Vida Me Robo.
