Professional catcher that was signed by the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in 2016. He was once ranked as high as the sixth best prospect in the Blue Jays' organization.

He began his professional career playing for Toronto's rookie affiliate team the GCL Blue Jays.

He made his major league debut playing against the New York Mets on September 12, 2020.

He is a native of Tijuana, Baja California.

He credits Albert Pujols for being one of his biggest baseball influences growing up.
