ABOUT ALENA MAZE

American content creator working alongside her husband Joe Lee on the family-oriented multicultural media YouTube channel MAZELEE . The couple would use their space to discuss dynamics of a blended Black and Korean family, expressing the ups and downs through vlogs.

She earned a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Georgetown University before earning her Ph.D. in Survey Methodology and Statistics from the University of Maryland , College Park.

She began working as a mathematical statistician for the US Federal Government in 2010.

She had four children before her relationship with Joe. They would raise seven children together, including Alena's four from a previous marriage, in the Washington D.C. area.

She and Joe vlogged about their life as a multicultural family like Nikki and Jamie Perkins .
