ABOUT ALEX MICHAEL FAEDO

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Detroit Tigers during the first round of the 2017 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Florida , where won an NCAA Championship in 2017. He was also named Most Outstanding Player of the College World Series.

He is a graduate of Braulio Alonso High School. He finished his senior season with a 0.58 ERA.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Pittsburgh Pirates on May 4, 2022. He pitched five innings during his debut.

He grew up living with his family in Tampa, Florida. His cousin, Lenny, pitched in the major leagues for 4 seasons.

He played alongside Miguel Cabrera as a member of the Tigers during the 2022 regular season.
