ABOUT ALEX MATOS

Professional soccer player and athlete who has played for Premier League club Chelsea. He signed with Chelsea in July of 2023. On October 2, 2023, a day before his 19th birthday, Matos made his professional debut in the Premier League match against Fulham. He came off the bench in stoppage time, replacing Enzo Fernández in a 2-0 away victory. He joined Championship club Huddersfield Town in January of 2024, on loan from Chelsea.

He began his youth career at Kempston Colts. After spending some time at Luton Town, he eventually joined Norwich City in the year 2016.

In of 2018, he was part of the England U15 team. In October of 2023, he made his senior debut for Chelsea in a Premier League match against Fulham. He is just under 6' tall.

He was born in England.

He and fellow soccer player Armando Broja have both played for Chelsea.
