ABOUT ALEX SCARROW

An English fiction writer, he is most famous for October Skies, Last Light, and other thriller novels. He also penned the popular TimeRiders science fiction series.

He worked as a rock band guitarist and a video game designer before pursuing a career as a novelist.

His Ellie Quin and TimeRiders books made him famous as an author of young adult fiction.

He settled in Norwich, England with his wife Frances and his son Jacob. His brother, Simon Scarrow , also became a well-known novelist.

He and fellow British author, Catherine Webb , both wrote popular books in the young adult and science fiction genres.
