Singer who received positive press for the singles "Empire" and "Gentleman" before dropping her debut EP Alexa. She is a former American Idol contestant and the founder of the Alexa Heller Voice and Music Company.

She underwent emergency brain surgery at age thirteen. She delved into music as a way to help cope with the trauma of the experience.

In 2008 she appeared on the MTV series True Life, which chronicled her struggles with acne.

She has a younger brother named Jordan.

She has cited Justin Timberlake as one of her biggest influences.
