She earned a degree in theatre. She then spent years working as a professional theatre actress before segueing to writing.
She has gained critical acclaim for her Immortal Rogues, Sentinels, and Bayou Heat book series. She also published the A Rose for Three Rakes trilogy in 2001.
She has two children with her husband.
She and Katy Evans are both critically acclaimed romance novelists.
