ABOUT ALI NUHU
Prominent in Nigeria's Kannywood and Nollywood film industries, this screen actor, director, and producer earned several Africa Movie Academy Awards for his roles in Hausa and English-language films. His credits include roles in the thriller Last Flight to Abuja and in the dark comedy Confusion Na Wa.
He earned a geography degree from the University of Jos.
In 2013, he received a Best Actor honor at the annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
His marriage to Maimuna Garba Ja Abdulkadir resulted in two children: Ahmad and Fatima.
He appeared with fellow Nigerian film star Genevieve Nnaji in the 2008 drama Beautiful Soul.
