She first became known as a member of the vocal group Teardrops. However, she left the group in 2006.
In 2014, she made her acting debut in the film Suki-tte Ii na yo.
She is half-French and half-Japanese. As a child, she lived in Thailand and Tahiti.
She was paired with SHINee member Key on the second season of the variety show We Got Married: Global Edition.
