ABOUT ALISTAIR HIGNELL
English rugby union international and cricketer who later became a broadcaster.
He was educated at Denstone College, an all-boys boarding school.
He won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Helen Rollason Award in 2008, for his work with multiple sclerosis.
His father Tony was also a famous English sportsman.
He played alongside Fran Cotton on the English national team in the 1970s.
