ABOUT ALISTAIR JOHNSTON

Professional right-back that was first signed by the Vaughan Azzurri Football Club in 2015. He was later signed by the Celtic Football Club in December 2022. He has also played in the MLS for the Nashville Soccer Club and the Montréal Football Club. His soccer fame has led him to amass more than 90,000 followers on Instagram.

Prior to his professional career, he played college soccer at St. John's University . He later transferred to Wake Forest University .

He has also played for the Canadian men's national team during his professional career. He and his team defeated the Bermuda men's national team during the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Vancouver, Canada area. He is one of three brothers. He married his wife Peyton in June 2025.

He credits Zlatan Ibrahimovic as being one of his biggest soccer influences.
