French vocalist who was a semi-finalist in the television talent competition Nouvelle Star.
She released her debut album, Un Jour d'ete, with the help of producers of Nouvelle Star 2 who admired her budding talent.
Her chart-topping single, "Ma Philosophie," sold over 500,000 copies soon after its release. In six months, the music video for her hit song "Le chant des colombes" earned over 8 million views on YouTube. Her Spotify channel boasts over 1 million monthly listeners.
She and her two siblings were born in France to a Moroccan mother and an Algerian father.
Singer Christophe Willem also appeared on (and won) a season of Nouvelle Star.
