ABOUT AMLESET MUNCHIE
Filmmaker, actress, entertainer, artist, performer, and pageant contestant who won the 2004 Miss University beauty pageant, representing the nation of Ethiopia. She also won Miss World Ethiopia pageant in the year 2006.
She studied filmmaking at New York Film Academy. She studied journalism at Unity University in Ethiopia.
She was the spokesperson for the company known as Etete Dairy Products in Ethiopia. She was a Goodwill Ambassador for the enterprise Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia. She wrote and produced the short film Adoption and the romantic comedy Sile Fikir.
In September 2012, she married singer Teddy Afro . They welcomed their first child in 2013.
She and Yityish Aynaw are both successful Ethiopian pageant contestants.
