ABOUT ANABELA ATIJAS

Vocalist who found fame in the 90s as one half of the Serbian husband-and-wife dance duo Funky G. Following the band's dissolution, she made her solo debut with the album Igra Sudbine (2010).

She went to secondary school in the city of Sarajevo. She left for Switzerland in 1990 and was unable to return to her home country due to border closures, as war had erupted.

Her band Funky G's 1994 single "Samo u Snu" is widely credited with helping to create a dance music scene in Yugoslavia.

She was married to her Funky G bandmate Gagi Dogani until 2009. She later married a businessman named Andrej.

Her song "Preventiva" features Boban Rajovic .
