ABOUT ANAS EL BAZ

Moroccan actor who is known for his appearances on television series, feature films, and short films as well. He is best recognized for having starred as Karim in the 2008 film Casanegra and for his role in the 2015 film La Moitie de Ciel.

He graduated from The Cours Florent in 2007. He then went on to star in the 2008 television series Terre de Lumiere as the recurring role Sidi. His feature film debut occurred in 2008 when he starred as Karim in Casanegra.

He has won several awards for his acting including Best Actor at the Brussels International Independent Film Festival in 2008 for his role in Casanegra.

He was born and raised in Rabat, Morocco to a father who was an economist and a mother who was a teacher.

He starred alongside Minnie Driver , Iain Glen , and Will Tudor in the 2014 mini-series The Red Tent.
