ABOUT ANDERS SELINDER
Swedish ballet choreographer and dancer, most famous for being the master of the Royal Swedish Ballet from 1833–1856.
He was hired as a principal dancer at the Royal Swedish Opera in 1829 prior to being appointed ballet master when he was just 27.
He composed some 40 ballets and 40 opera ballets during his successful career.
He was born in Stockholm.
He and Fernando Bujones were regarded as two of the best dancers of their generations.
