American actress who rose to fame as the voice of Amanda Ripley in the video game Alien: Isolation as well as the streaming series of the same name. Her fame grew after she played CIA agent Jenna Bragg on season eight of Homeland . Her film credits include the acclaimed 2015 drama Creditors and José Padilha 's 2018 action thriller 7 Days in Entebbe.

She studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Her performance in Alien: Isolation earned her a nomination for Best Female Lead Vocal Performance in a Video Game at the 2015 Behind the Voice Actors Awards. She talks about how to live with diabetes on her She's Diabetic YouTube channel. She posts photos from her daily life, including Halloween celebrations and time spent with friends, on her andreagdeck Instagram page.

She featured her father in a photo posted to Instagram on July 21, 2021.

She and Claire Danes have worked together on the cast of Homeland.
