ABOUT ANDREA MOTIS
Spanish jazz singer and trumpeter who rose to fame with the release of her 2010 album, Joan Chamorro Presents Andrea Motis. 2017 saw the release of her major label debut, Emotional Dance. She has collaborated with renowned musical artists such as Quincy Jones , Milton Nascimento , and Yo-Yo Ma .
She began attending the Municipal School of Music of Sant Andreu at the age of seven.
She is known for singing in Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, and English. She has performed at the Tokyo Jazz Festival and the Festival de Jazz de Barcelona.
She is from Barcelona, Spain.
Her musical inspirations include Robert Glasper and Fats Waller .
