Professional pitcher that was signed by the Kansas City Royals as an international free agent in 2010. He was signed by the Washington Nationals in February 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Royals' rookie affiliate team the Dominican Summer League Royals.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Minnesota Twins on September 2, 2017 as a member of the Kansas City Royals .

He lives with his wife, Emanuela, and their two children.

He played alongside Patrick Corbin as a member of the Nationals during the 2021 MLB season.
