ABOUT ANDREW BELL
Known for his graphic art, illustrations, sculptures, paintings, and original, collectible toys, this English-born visual artist created a New York art studio called Dead Zebra, Inc. He also published several art books, including Do Not Eat! : A Collection of Creatures by Andrew Bell and Now You've Done It : A Collection of Creatures.
While training at New York's School of Visual Arts, he apprenticed at Marvel Comics and subsequently secured a design position with Nickelodeon.
He worked with Google executives to create a series of collectible toys based on the Android mascot.
Born and raised in Guildford, England, he relocated to New York, U.S.A. during his college years.
He crafted a toy version of the helmet worn by Star Wars villain Darth Vader and exhibited the piece at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
