Creator of the sitcom Mr Blue Sky who has previous writing credits for EastEnders , Grass, and Not Going Out.

He started as a music journalist and film magazine editor.

He has written a number of books with his first being Still Suitable for Miners: Billy Bragg: The Authorised Biography.

He was born in Northampton, England.

He co-wrote Not Going Out with comedian Lee Mack .
