He began performing stand-up comedy in 2013. He graduated from the University of Texas in 2017.

He performed in the New Faces showcase at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in 2017, where he was discovered by SNL scouts. As a writer for SNL, he was nominated for the Emmy Award for outstanding writing for a variety series in 2018 and 2019.

His parents' names are Lori Ann and Gregory. He is one of three children.
