ABOUT ANDREW FASTOW

Former chief financial officer at Enron who served a six-year prison sentence after the company's money-laundering scandal.

He worked at Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company in Chicago.

He embraced the late-1990s deregulation of the United States energy markets to grow Enron into the behemoth company that it became before its fall.

He attended Northwestern University and Tufts University where he met his future wife. He married Lea Fastow in 1984.

He was inspired by the success of Bill Gates .
