ABOUT ANDREW KNOWLTON

Food journalist known for his work with Bon Appétit, particularly as the restaurant editor. He also started writing the Foodist column in 2008 and has been co-host of Bon Appétit's podcast.

He worked at Lingua Franca, an academic magazine, before moving into culinary writing.

He's been a judge on Iron Chef America as well as The Next Iron Chef.

He's married and has two daughters.

He appeared with Alton Brown during his time on The Next Iron Chef.
