Andrew Parkinson

ABOUT ANDREW PARKINSON

Former professional basketball player and athlete who is best known for his time with the South East Melbourne Magic. He played ten seasons in the Australian National Basketball League. He won two NBL championships with the Magic.

He attended Melbourne High School.

In 2019, he was diagnosed with a rare form of bladder cancer. He had multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. He stands six feet, five inches tall and weighs nearly 210 pounds. In 1991, Parkinson won the NBL Most Improved Player Award.

He is from Australia.

He scored 107 points in a game, more than both Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain .
