Before becoming the producer for Ellen DeGeneres 's show, he worked in the human interest department and as a writer. He appeared on screen in seven episodes of the show.
He earned a degree in English from the University of Oregon .
He was Ellen's red carpet correspondent for the CMA awards in 2019. In 2022, his time at The Ellen Degeneres Show came to an end following the outing of Ellen's controversial treatment of employees.
He and his wife, Megha Fowler, have three children.
