ABOUT ANDRIEVS NIEDRA

A Latvian writer, Lutheran cleric, and twentieth-century political figure, he is most remembered for his anti-socialist literary works. One of his best-known titles is The Memoirs of a Traitor to the Nation, which he wrote while in exile from his native Latvia.
