Fire captain, ultra runner, and obstacle course participant famous for his slogan, "Smile or you're doing it wrong." His detailed posts documenting his journey training for and participating in various competitive races and events have helped him earn more than 210,000 followers to his amglaze Instagram account. He also posts advice, meal ideas, book recommendations, and family photos.

He has been a runner throughout his entire adult life. He started out in small local races before moving on to become a participant in competitive OCR (Obstacle Course Racing). He competed in events such as triathlons and the Tough Mudder series.

After running 725 miles and climbing 82,000 feet during the month of May 2023, he was ranked 19th in the entire world on the training tracker app Strava. He also posts running and marathon content on his glazeruns TikTok page, where he has amassed over 750,000 followers.

On May 22, 2023, he posted a photo tribute to his late father on his Instagram account. He is married to his wife Lauren Gaze, and together they have two daughters.

In a 2022 exclusive interview with Age Grouper, he noted that well-known athletes Cameron Hanes and David Goggins were promoters of the Cocodona 250 ultra race.
