Irish soccer defender who began his MLS career in 2012 with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
He began his professional soccer career in 1996, playing for England's Bradford City A.F.C.
He played on the Irish National Team from 2001 to 2006.
He married Carrie O'Brien in 2003.
He played in the MLS during the same period as British star David Beckham .
