ABOUT ANGEL FELIPE
Professional relief pitcher that was first signed by the Tampa Bay Rays as an international free agent in 2015. He was later signed by the San Diego Padres in January 2022. The team reassigned him to the minor leagues in October of 2022.
He initially began his professional career playing for the Dominican Summer League Rays. He was later sent to the GCL Rays.
He recorded a career-best .129 opponent batting average during his first professional season in the minors. In fact, he has a .236 career opponent batting through seven years in the minors.
He grew up living with his parents and his family in Villa Mella, Dominican Republic.
He shares an August 30th birthday with Dwayne Bacon , Jules Coutinho , and Cameron Diaz .
