ABOUT ÁNGEL MARTíNEZ

Midfielder who made his professional debut for Espanyol B in 2005, moving to Espanyol in 2007 and later signing with Blackpool in 2011.

He played youth soccer at UD Sabat.

In 2008, he played for Spain's under-21 national team.

He played alongside his brother José Martínez Cervera, a right back, on Girona.

Attacking midfielder Faris Haroun became his teammate on Blackpool in 2014.
