ABOUT ANGELA ROBINSON
American actress most famous for her role as the villain Veronica Harrington in the Oprah Winfrey Network series The Haves and the Have Nots. She is also a respected stage actress who played Shug Avery in a Broadway production of The Color Purple.
She graduated from William M. Raines High School in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida and later attended Florida A&M University .
In 2015, she received the Gracie Award for Outstanding Female Actor - One to Watch for her performance on The Haves and the Have Nots.
She married actor Scott Whitehurst in 1996.
She co-stars with Peter Parros on The Haves and the Have Nots.
