Mexican-American singer of Latin pop songs. Her 1991 version of Rosie and the Originals' "Angel Baby" reached number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
She performed on a television variety show called La Hora Feliz. She began singing at the age of 9.
She won the Best New Artist award at the Juguemos a Cantar national contest. By the mid-90's, she switched from pop music to Latin music. After a successful career in music, she moved into the photography, marketing, and public relations industries.
She was born into a musical family: her uncle, Eusebio Garcia, was the director of a Mariachi band.
She and Paula Abdul both had Billboard Hot 100 hits in 1991. Abdul's song "Rush Rush" came in at #4 on the year-end chart.
