ABOUT ANIL KUMAR DUTTA
Painter and graphic designer who founded the Academy of Creative Art and the literary magazine Shilpa O Sahitya.
He started a graphic design business called D.G. Press and Publicity Syndicate in 1956.
His 1979 project "Swakalbela" included portraits of more than 100 of his contemporaries.
His parents died within a span of six months when he was just seven years old.
He and Bangladeshi artist Zainul Abedin both studied at the Calcutta Art School.
